Adekdot ala Gus Dur_Bila Pastor Dikejar Macan

Gus Dur memang jagonya membuat anekdot atau pun humor. Konon, dalam suatu ceramah di depan umat katolik, Gus Dur menceritakan anekdot yg kurang lebih intinya seperti di bawah ini.

Suatu saat, karena kasihan melihat Pastornya yg seolah merasa jenuh karena setiap hari tinggal di biara, umanyat mengajak Sang Pastor piknik ke hutan. Mereka pun pergi ke hutan lebat secara rombongan.

Ketika tiba di tengah hutan lebat itu, tiba-tiba mereka bertemu harimau yg besar sekali. Rombongan piknik itu pun lari ketakutan karena harimau itu mengejar mereka. Sang Pastor pun berlari menyelamatkan diri, tetapi sayang sekali karena dia terpisah dari rombongan. Sialnya lagi, ternyata harimau itu mengejarnya. Maka dia pun terus berlari mencari tempat yg aman.

Lebih sial lagi, ketika Sang Pastor sudah kelelahan, dia mendapati jalan yg dilaluinya buntu dan berujung di tepian jurang. Karena tidak mungkin terjun ke jurang, maka Sang Pastor pun berhenti. Dalam kepasrahan Sang Pastor pun memejamkan mata dan berdoa memohon pada Tuhan agar harimau yg mengejarnya berhenti dan tidak mengejarnya lagi, serta tidak memakannya.

Ketika selesai berdoa, Sang Pastor pun membuka mata dan sangat takjub karena Si Harimau ternyata berhenti di depannya dan tidak melakukan apa-apa. Maka Sang Pastor pun berkata kepada harimau:

”Harimau, kenapa engkau diam saja dan tidak menerkamku?” tanya Sang Pastor.

”Aku diam karena sedang berdoa sebelum makan, layaknya Pastor juga berdoa sebelum makan!” jawab Si Harimau.
